On November 30, St Mary’s #16 of Corvallis hosted a delightful Breakfast with Santa, and we are thrilled to report that the event was a fantastic success! It was a joyful gathering filled with laughter, delicious food, and the spirit of giving. We served Pancakes, Eggs, Sausage, Fruit, and many drink choices. Hot Chocolate was popular, of course. Our assembly had the pleasure of serving 45 wonderful guests, all of whom came together to celebrate the magic of the season.
This year, we were fortunate to have the incredible Papa Paul Hardin as Santa, who captivated the children with his storytelling and warmth. His beautiful wife, Linda Hardin, played the role of Mrs. Clause and walked around chatting with the kids, spreading holiday cheer wherever she went. Thanks to Mrs. Clause’s engaging conversation, we are excited to share that we have THREE interested prospective members!
The assembly voted that 50% of the proceeds from this event will be directed toward the Grand Worthy Advisor’s Service Project, allowing us to contribute to a meaningful cause. We are grateful to everyone who attended and supported our efforts.
With the success of this event still fresh in our minds, we are excited to announce our next Breakfast with Santa, scheduled for December 14th! We hope to see even more smiles and familiar faces as we continue to embrace the joys of the holiday season.
