Scholarship Program Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for any of the scholarships under the Rainbow Scholarship Program, candidates must be an active or majority member in good standing with Oregon Rainbow. This program accepts applications from majority members up to the age of 26 at the time of application. It’s crucial to note that not only first-year students are eligible; continuing students can also apply for these scholarships.
Multiple scholarships can be awarded to a single applicant. However, there’s an annual cap of $3,000 in awards to a recipient in a given year. There is a maximum lifetime cap of $5,500 is also stipulated by the Scholarship Committee and ratified by the GEC Steering Committee. These measures exist to ensure fairness and inclusivity, allowing as many eligible students as possible to benefit from this fantastic opportunity.
